Putrajaya – From April 20 until December 31, 2024, Pasadana Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd, a travel operator specializing in umrahs, had its license suspended by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.
The suspension was implemented in accordance with Subsections 8(1)(b) and 8(1)(d) of the Tourism Industry Act 1992 (Act 482), according to a statement released by the Tourism, Arts, and Culture Ministry on Tuesday, June 11.
According to the ministry, the company was unable to advertise umrah packages or seek out new pilgrims while it was suspended.
“Those who cancel their umrah trip reservations must receive a reimbursement from the company and have their documents returned during the suspension.
