Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur Eyes Partnership to Make Medical Travel Easier

KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 — Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur is in talks to forge a strategic partnership with Menara The Suite, aiming to enhance support for Malaysia’s burgeoning medical tourism sector through the provision of nearby accommodation for patients and their families.

Located just 300 metres from Gleneagles along Jalan Ampang, Menara The Suite is developed by Bellajade Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of DK Group. The facility has been identified as a potential lodging hub for local and international outpatients requiring short- to mid-term stays during medical treatment.

In a statement, Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur said the collaboration is designed to ease the logistical burden on patients, particularly those travelling from abroad, by offering convenient, accessible lodging options within walking distance of the hospital.

“This initiative is part of our continued efforts to improve patient care and experience. Providing comfortable accommodation close to our facilities helps reduce stress for both patients and caregivers,” the hospital said.

The proposed tie-up is also in line with national objectives to boost healthcare travel and position Malaysia as a premier destination for quality medical services.

Healthcare tourism remains a key economic driver, with Kuala Lumpur being among the top destinations for patients from neighbouring countries seeking specialist treatment.

The partnership between Gleneagles and Menara The Suite is expected to contribute to a more integrated and patient-centric ecosystem in Malaysia’s medical tourism landscape.
