MALAYSIA- According to Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, debit and credit cards can be used at RapidKL stations to purchase tickets as well as to subscribe to or top off My50 and MyCity travel passes. 

In a statement released on Tuesday, April 30, it stated, “The new payment modes are to ease and upgrade the efficiency of ticket purchases for users of RapidKL.” 

The article stated that the RapidKL concession card registration counters at Pasar Seni Hub and Conlay MRT station in Kuala Lumpur also accepted the new payment options. 

“With the extra options, users may conduct transactions more safely and efficiently, eliminating the need for them to search for ATMs or carry cash.  

“It is in line with Rapid Rail’s commitment to upgrade the purchasing system and give commuters a positive travel experience,” the statement continued.
