The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and AirAsia MOVE have formed a strategic partnership to promote travel to Singapore, particularly from key Southeast Asian source markets like Malaysia and Thailand.
Established formally in a Letter of Cooperation dated April 17, 2025, the collaboration will introduce curated holiday packages on the AirAsia MOVE platform. The packages will include flights, accommodations, and admission to top events and activities in Singapore—perfect for short, weekend getaways.
By combining data, technology, and engaging content, the joint effort aims to offer convenient, highly personalized journeys. A collective marketing effort has been designed to launch in the third quarter of 2025, highlighting Singapore’s distinctive appeal and enhancing its attractiveness for regional visitors.
Juliana Kua, STB’s Assistant Chief Executive (International Group), stated, “Travellers from Southeast Asia have varied preferences and are generally familiar with Singapore. To inspire repeat visits or deeper exploration, data-driven and tailored experiences are essential. We’re excited to join forces with AirAsia MOVE to enhance travel journeys and help visitors maximise their time in Singapore.”
AirAsia MOVE CEO Nadia Omer concurred, saying, “This collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board is proof of our dedication to developing regional tourism using innovation and strategic convergence. With our digital expertise and user-driven insights, we want to make the experience of planning a trip easier and enhance interaction and general travel to Singapore. We think there’s tremendous scope in destinations like Malaysia and Thailand and are committed to delivering value added to the traveller and tourism sector alike.”.
The collaboration will also include personalized travel recommendations and Muslim-friendly facilities, cultural activities, events, and real-time updates—all available on the AirAsia MOVE app.
