Amari SPICE Penang Brings Back ‘Juadah Nostalgia’ Ramadan Buffet with a Feast of Tradition and Flavour

Amari SPICE Penang is ushering in the holy month of Ramadan with the return of its much-anticipated Juadah Nostalgia Ramadan Buffet Dinner, promising an evening steeped in tradition, flavour and warm memories.

Running daily from Feb 20 to March 15, 2026, the buffet will be served from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm at Amaya Food Gallery, where guests can gather from dusk to break fast in a setting designed to celebrate togetherness.

This year’s offering sees Executive Chef Azmi Affandi, better known as Chef Benny, curating a thoughtfully crafted spread of Malaysian classics alongside selected international favourites, presented on a daily rotating menu to keep the experience fresh throughout the fasting month.

The buka puasa journey begins with pembuka selera, featuring an assortment of hot and cold beverages, ulam-ulaman, Rojak Petis and fresh fruits. From there, diners are invited to indulge in hearty signature dishes such as the much-loved Gulai Kawah and a generous Rendang Beraneka section, showcasing Rendang Daging, Rendang Ayam Muda and Rendang Paru Lembu.

Adding an international touch, the popular Turkish Shawarma Station makes a welcome return to Amaya Kitchen. Outdoors at Amaya Terrace, the hawker-style selection comes alive with crowd favourites including Bidai Sapi Panggang Minang, Paha Kambing Golek, Sate Daging dan Ayam, Ikan Bakar Bersambal and the robustly flavoured Sup Gear Box.

Dessert lovers will find plenty to delight in at the sweets corner, where local favourites take centre stage. Guests can enjoy freshly made treats from the fritter and apam balik stations, alongside serawa, manisan, and an eye-catching spread of kuih Melayu and kuih Nyonya. A highlight of the evening is the live preparation of Buah Melaka, lovingly crafted on the spot by Kak Siti, offering both flavour and nostalgia in every bite.

Enhancing the Ramadan ambience, freshly brewed Turkish coffee will be served from a push cart, offering guests a comforting pause after a hearty meal. Adding to the sense of nostalgia, Roti Man’s cart invites diners to revisit childhood snacks, while providing a charming photo opportunity to mark the occasion.

An early bird promotion is available at RM158 nett per adult with full payment made by Jan 18, 2026. Thereafter, the regular price is RM188 nett per adult, with special rates of RM148 nett for senior citizens aged 60 and above, and RM118 nett for children aged six to 12. Live band performances will add to the festive atmosphere throughout the Ramadan period.

With seating for up to 450 guests, Amaya Food Gallery is also well-suited for group and corporate bookings during the fasting month. For the convenience of Muslim guests, separate male and female surau are available on Levels 4 and 5.
