A new route between Istanbul and Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, has been introduced by low-cost airline Pegasus Airlines.
Twice a week, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Bratislava Airport will have a direct flight.
Wednesdays and Sundays at 11.55 and 10.20 local time from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Bratislava Airport and at 14.00 and 12.30 local time from Bratislava Airport to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport will see flight departures.
“We are delighted to be launching a scheduled service connecting Bratislava and Slovakia with the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul, marking our 100th international route,” said Emre Pekesen, Group Director of Sales and Network Planning at Pegasus Airlines. “Flights will operate twice a week between Bratislava Airport and our hub, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.”
With scheduled direct flights connecting the two nations, Pegasus Airlines is pleased to provide a distinctive travel experience to all of our passengers.
Additionally, we are excited to begin summertime flights between Bratislava and Antalya on May 18, 2024.
We also express our gratitude to the Bratislava Airport management for their outstanding collaboration.
The new scheduled air carrier that will run direct flights to Istanbul both in the summer and the winter is being welcomed at Bratislava Airport by Dušan Novota, Chairman of the Board and General Director of the M. R. Štefánik Airport.
Owing to regular flights to Istanbul, Bratislava has access to a hub airport, providing the opportunity for transfer connections to other locations within the Pegasus Airlines network, such as Cappadocia, Kuwait, or Georgia.
This year, we anticipate the greatest number of passengers to ever fly from Bratislava to Türkiye, as the carrier’s direct route to Antalya will complement the regular year-round route to Istanbul in addition to additional scheduled and charter flights to (and from) Antalya.
With 138 destinations on its growing network, Pegasus Airlines serves 35 domestic and 103 foreign locations.
