Penang, Malaysia, 12 September 2024 – QNET, a global leader in wellness and lifestyle direct selling, has launched its much-anticipated V-Malaysia 2024 Convention, from September 12 to 16 at the Penang Spice Convention Center. Supported by Tourism Malaysia, this major event is set to enhance Malaysia’s reputation as a top destination for international meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE).
Themed “Unstoppable,” the bi-annual convention reinforces QNET’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, attracting approximately 8,000 participants from 30 countries, marking it as a significant global gathering.
During the convention’s Business Networking Session, YB Wong Hon Wai, Penang State EXCO for Tourism & Creative Economy, delivered a welcome speech, emphasizing the event’s significance to Penang’s tourism and economy:
V-Malaysia has held a special place in Penang’s calendar for the past 12 years. The Penang State Government and the Penang Convention and Exhibition Bureau have facilitated and will continue to support V-Malaysia being held here in Penang.
This event has grown in both size and significance, reflecting the ever-expanding community of resilient and passionate entrepreneurs who come together to share, learn, and inspire.
Wong further highlighted the broader economic benefits of the convention, noting that Penang experienced a 64.5% increase in tourism in 2023, recording nearly seven million passenger movements. Events like V-Malaysia not only boost tourism but also generate job opportunities in hospitality, tourism, and event management sectors.
QNET’s Chief of Regional Operations, Pushpalatha Balan, echoed this sentiment, stating that V-Malaysia is more than just a convention—it is a platform for fostering business excellence and sustainability. “Our theme, ‘Unstoppable,’ mirrors our dedication to inspiring positive change and fostering resilient, innovative entrepreneurs. By introducing new sustainable product lines, we aim to meet customer needs while promoting a greener future,” Balan said.
One of the highlights of the event is QNET’s luxury brand Bernhard H. Mayer’s Serendipity Collection, featuring sustainable jewellery and the Limited-Edition Wave Rider watch, showcasing the company’s commitment to sustainable luxury.
Collaborating with V-Global Management (The V), QNET has successfully positioned V-Malaysia as a global hub for networking and business growth, drawing thousands of networkers worldwide.
The convention’s packed agenda includes business training, motivational speeches, and product exhibitions, offering invaluable opportunities for personal and professional development. It continues to elevate Penang’s standing as a leading destination for international conventions and business events, providing long-term economic benefits.
As QNET continues to champion innovation and sustainability, V-Malaysia 2024 serves as a powerful symbol of the company’s mission to empower individuals and communities globally, ensuring that Penang remains at the forefront of international MICE tourism.
