SINGAPORE – Saudia, Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier, has been named the Official Premium Partner for Riyadh Season 2025, solidifying the airline’s unwavering support for the Kingdom’s most-awaited worldwide entertainment event.
The partnership was officially sealed at a ceremony that was attended by His Excellency Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Alshikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), who acknowledged Saudia’s commitment to this flagship event since its inception.
In its sixth edition, Riyadh Season has become an international entertainment destination, amassing over 20 million visitors during the last festival. The festival has developed into one of the largest and most ambitious cultural experiences internationally, with millions of international guests attending every year.
Through this partnership, Saudia will be instrumental in connecting the international traveller with the Riyadh Season to further its purpose as an ambassador of tourism, aligning fully with Vision 2030, a Kingdom initiative to establish Saudi Arabia as a leading international destination for culture, entertainment and travel.
This year’s Riyadh Season is set to feature an expanded array of attractions, including 15 world championships and 34 exhibitions and festivals, ranging from concerts and art showcases to immersive cultural experiences. New zones such as Beast Land and Blvd Flowers will make their debut, alongside returning favourites like Blvd World and Blvd City, each offering distinct entertainment experiences.
Saudia has been a steadfast supporter of Riyadh Season since its launch five years ago and remains a cornerstone partner in every edition. The latest three-year agreement signed by GEA Chief Executive Officer Faisal Bafarat and Saudia Group Chief Marketing Officer Khaled Tash marks the first time a partnership will span across three consecutive seasons.
Khaled Tash said the collaboration reflects Saudia’s deep commitment to advancing the entertainment and tourism sectors in the Kingdom.
“We are proud to play a role in one of the world’s leading entertainment seasons, and the recognition from His Excellency Turki Al Alshikh highlights the value of collective efforts across sectors to ensure Riyadh Season’s success,” he said.
“This three-year partnership represents a significant milestone in building long-term strategic relationships that advance the ambitions of both parties and align with Saudi Vision 2030.”
Saudia continues to support the success of Riyadh Season by offering comprehensive travel solutions and expanding connectivity between Riyadh and major destinations worldwide. The airline currently operates a modern fleet of 149 aircraft serving more than 100 destinations across four continents.
