Emirates signs MoUs with Tourism Boards of Malaysia and Turkey

Together, Emirates and Tourism Malaysia will seek to increase traveller traffic from the airline’s worldwide network to Malaysia.  

To raise awareness and demand, the parties will investigate cooperative advertising and tactical efforts through the strategic agreement. Where practical, Emirates will arrange familiarization tours for important Middle Eastern and Gulf markets to Malaysia.

With the introduction of a codeshare agreement between Emirates and Batik Air Malaysia last year, passengers of Emirates may now conveniently travel via Kuala Lumpur to five cities inside Malaysia and three regional destinations in Southeast Asia. 

Together, Emirates and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) aim to increase Turkey’s tourism attractiveness in both current and prospective source markets. In the presence of Adnan Kazim, Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, the agreement was signed by İsmail Bütün, General Manager of TGA, and Thierry Aucoc, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Europe, of Emirates. 

The new agreement calls for Emirates and TGA to work together to promote travel from important markets throughout the airline’s worldwide network, look into the possibility of setting up familiarization flights to Turkey, and work on cooperative marketing and promotional efforts that

We are optimistic that our joint efforts will encourage more tourists to visit the nation and take in all of its many attractions.
