Pahang aims at the Indian market with the 2025 tourism roadshow

KUANTAN: As an effort to attract the indian market, Tourism Pahang will be hosting a roadshow in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia Year 2026.

Tourism Pahang will be taking its promotional exercise to New Delhi on Sept 24 and Chennai on Sept 26, where the state’s tourism gems will be marketed to industry players through a business-to-business (B2B) networking session.

The roadshow is designed to bring together tour operators, travel agents and airlines from both countries to develop relationships and create travel packages specifically designed for Indian travellers.

Among the attractions to be promoted are Pahang’s world-class destinations, from the refreshing highland retreats of Fraser’s Hill, Genting Highlands and Cameron Highlands, to pristine beach resorts including Cherating and Tioman Island. Taman Negara, the 130-million-year-old world’s oldest rainforest, would also entice nature enthusiasts.

Tourism Pahang announced as part of its comprehensive master plan to promote the state as an Indian tourist destination of choice, and reinforce its position as “The Heart of Malaysia” for international tourism- Bernama
