PENANG- World Hoops and Penang Basketball Association is thrilled to have this FIBA-endorsed international competition with its global publicity returning for seven years to Malaysia and specifically, Penang. This year’s Penang FIBA 3X3 CHALLENGER will be held on JUNE 1-2 at Main Atrium Queensbay Mall supported by Penang State EXCO For Youth, Sports and Health, Penang State Sports Council, and Adun Seri Delima, & Adun Batu Uban.
At World Hoops, we believe that life is all about learning. Our mission is to inspire people to learn and grow through the sport of basketball. As one of the most popular events among local youth, basketball serves as an incredible platform for outreach. It improves our youth’s sporting abilities as well as develops their character and values.
Consequently, in conjunction with the Penang FIBA 3×3 Challenger, this year we anticipate 200 participants for the BASKETBALL CLINIC, 80 teams for the GRASSROOTS & CORPORATE TOURNAMENT, & 150 for BFL 1 ON 1 from May 28 to 31, 2024.
