SKS Hospitality Launches DRIVE Programme to Fast-Track Future Hospitality Leaders

JOHOR: SKS Hospitality launches the ‘Driven and Resilient Individuals with Vision for Excellence (Driven), an initiative aimed at fast-tracking aspiring talents into supervisory roles across its essential hotel portfolio, which includes the Fives and AmanSari brands.

The drive is a key component of SKS Hospitality’s education-based ESG initiative under Project HELANG.

Targeted at fresh graduates and rising internal talents, the programme is designed to cultivate future-ready leaders grounded in agility, values-driven leadership, and a people-first mindset.

“The future of hospitality belongs to those who lead not just with knowledge, but with kindness, clarity and courage.

“Through Drive, we’re creating a meaningful path for individuals to discover their strengths, take charge of their career success, and inspire others along the way, ” said the head of SKS Hospitality Meera Raj.

The drive is a key component of SKS Hospitality’s education-based ESG initiative under Project HELANG.

The programme is a six-month commitment to growth, starting with an immersive, ground-level experience across SKS Hospitality’s Essentials brands, namely Fives and AmanSari.

Participants will select a pathway in either rooms or food and beverage, open to both fresh graduates and internal talents or take on the administration track, exclusive to current team members.

With each rotation, including a special placement tailored to personal interests, individuals will gain hands-on exposure, build cross-functional understanding, and uncover the unique strengths that set them apart as future leaders.

The second half is where potential turns into progress. Participants will transition to another hotel, stepping into real roles and responsibilities within their selected path.

Over two transformative months, they will receive structured training under departmental mentors, learning to lead, to decide, and to inspire.

Their final month will see them taking charge independently, a true test of leadership readiness, culminating in a full assessment that opens the door to supervisory success.

Successful graduates will be appointed directly into confirmed supervisory positions within Fives and AmanSari hotels without an additional probationary period.

“In recognition of their readiness, they will also be welcomed into the group’s exclusive Leadership Talent Pool, a curated bench of future leaders poised for greater responsibilities,” the statement said.

The Drive programme is open to

graduates with a Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or a related discipline (completed within the past two years).

It is also open to applicants of all backgrounds and nationalities who embody resilience and leadership drive

Internal team members nominated through the Talent Succession Programme (TSP), were identified for their growth potential and performance consistency.

For internal candidates, Drive presents a unique opportunity for structured advancement into mid-level roles.
