Dato Tony Goh was re-elected for a second term as the chairman of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Chapter of Penang for 2025 to 2028.
He was elected at the annual general meeting held at the St Giles Wembley Hotel, where he is the General Manager, in addition to his role at Cititel Express in Georgetown.
AGM was attended by 60 representatives of various hotels and resorts, and some of the notable persons attending were Dato Khoo Boo Lim (MAH Vice President), Isaac Raj (MAH CEO), and Pn Fadhillah Arifin (MAH General Manager) from Kuala Lumpur.
The following office bearers were elected as follows:
- Vice Chairmen: Dato Gulab Mahatam Rai (GM, NEO+ Hotel & Lone Pine Hotel) and Ben Ho (GM, Lexis Suites Penang)
- Honorary Secretary: John Kim (Mei Hotel Manager)
- Treasurer: Dennis Lee (GM, Royale Chulan Penang)
- Committee Members: Suffian Phoong (Hampton Hotel), Amran Taib (Berjaya Hotel Penang), Melvin Ooi (Prestige Hotel), Tan Hock Khiam (Aroma Hotel), Lynne Choong (Bayview Hotel Georgetown), and Alex Gooi (Hotel Sentral Georgetown)
- Internal Auditor: Davidde Ong (Angsana Teluk Bahang)
