4 October 2024, Johor Bahru, Malaysia — Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre embraced the spirit of giving this October through its participation in IHG’s global “Giving for Good” initiative. With a focus on creating meaningful community impact, the hotel organized two charitable activities : A community service visit to Cerebral Palsy Home Johor Bahru and a blood donation drive in collaboration with Hospital Sultanah Aminah.

On 24 September, the team at Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre visited Cerebral Palsy Home Johor Bahru to engage with residents and lend a helping hand. The team spent the day connecting with students, organizing spaces, and participating in creative arts and crafts activities. This event highlighted the hotel’s dedication to making a difference beyond its walls and fostering a sense of joy and connection within the community.

The event brought together 44 donors, including hotel team members, mall tenants, nearby office workers, and hotel guests, united in their mission to make a difference. The initiative underscored the belief that giving back does not always need a monetary contribution—sometimes, the gift of life is the most meaningful of all.
