Selangor, 30 November 2024 – Tourism Selangor Sdn Bhd has announced a revision of ticket prices for two of its flagship ecotourism destinations, Kanching Eco Forest Park and Chongkak Eco Forest Park, effective 2 December 2024. The price adjustment aims to fund ongoing infrastructure upgrades and enhance safety measures to deliver an improved visitor experience.
Since 2022, ticket prices have remained affordable at RM 2.00 for local visitors and RM 8.00 for international tourists. However, starting in December, ticket prices will increase by RM 2.00, while entry for children aged 12 and below will remain free.
Under the new pricing structure:

- Weekdays: Local visitors: RM 4.00
- International visitors: RM 10.00
- Weekends and public holidays: Local visitors: RM 5.00
- International visitors: RM 12.00
The decision reflects the parks’ growing popularity, with Chongkak Eco Forest Park recording 89,164 visitors and Kanching Eco Forest Park attracting 55,852 visitors between January and October 2024.
Tourism Selangor emphasized its commitment to preserving and rehabilitating these natural sites while ensuring affordability and accessibility for both local and international tourists. The move aligns with the state’s preparations for Visit Selangor Year 2025, a campaign designed to spotlight Selangor’s ecotourism gems.
